Towel warmers are still cool gadgets

June 2, 2009

With the scorching weather this weekend, you would think people would be put off buying luxury heating items, instead opting for something more sensible in the current clime, such as an air conditioning unit.

However, it seems people aren’t being put off towel warmers despite the heat. These devices are still selling like hot cakes (excuse the pun). The latest trend in home improvement is to set up a personal spa, which may include features like a Jacuzzi bath and sauna room.

One of the most popular accessories for these “home spas” is a towel warmer, hence they are one of the most popular heating accessories even during this bought of warm weather we are seeing.

Towel warmers are both a decorative and functional piece of equipment that often replaces the role of a radiator in homes, most commonly in the bathroom. There are now a vast range of towel warmers available, all in varying styles. There are businesses that cater just in towel warmers and other heated rail products, and often you can find designer towel warmers on display in specialist stores.

So, how do you feel about this; would you consider buying a heating product at a time like this? Or would you simply by a fan to keep the heat away?
