March 18, 2010
Internet users have enjoyed being able to catch up on missed programs by accessing the BBC iPlayer and watching their favourite programs for up to 7 days after.
The iPlayer is an astonishingly successful pulling in around 40 million program requests service each month. But now, Microsoft has launched a rival player, the MSN Video player and claims that it is far superior. Not only can users catch up on missed programs but can watch complete series of their favourite programs. Rumour has it that Microsoft are in talks with major film companies and will possibly host a suite of movies for us to watch at leisure.
