Two year old tot has 14 pots of yoghurt daily
July 1, 2008
The name is Bobby Glarvey. Yoghurt is his favourite food, which he consumes without batting an eyelid, an amazing fourteen pots of yoghurt, which is his daily intake.
Due to a rare phobia, the tiny tot is unable to bear lumpy food. His parents unsuccessfully tried to tempt him with other delicacies generally lapped up by other boys of his age.
Craig Glarvey, his father, is a worried man as he is unable to follow expert’s advice, asking the couple to act in a way so that the child gives up the habit. The parents had to acquire a separate fridge for storing enormous yoghurt requirements so that their kid is constantly provided his favourite food.
Sally, the mother lamented: ‘He just spits other food out. He has never had a hot meal in his life. We have had advice from a child psychologist who says we should not worry and eventually he should grow out of it. In the meantime, we have to let him decide what he wants to eat, so long as he eats something it doesn’t matter.”
Craig, who is a lorry driver by profession, is happy that the tiny tot is lively and bright, but at the same time, he is worried. Imagine if you are a family enjoying a meal at a restaurant, you are forced to order only yoghurt pots for your beloved son…
